  • @jjason55740 - Ecuador's official currency is US Dollars. The distances are very short, and it is really $1. Everything there was incredbily cheap, especially considering you're stuck there 1000 km out in the ocean. Makes no sense. We were there a few years ago, so best to check a tourist info site for up-to-date info.

  • @jjason55740 - @jjason55740 - Baltra is a tiny barren island with just the airport on it. Isla Santa Cruz is right next to it, which is where most poeople stay (in Puerto Ayora). We stayed at the Red Boobie which was decent, has a rooftop pool, and is a short walk to all the restaraunts, etc - everything seen in my Galapagos videos is a short walk or $1 taxi ride from there (except Bartholome Island obviously).

  • Beautiful, makes me want to go back.
