  • @xomegalina who cares? thats like saying your best friends aunt knows somebody that has a half sister whose godbrother met a guy that got a autograph from one of big daddy kane's back up dancers...

  • @ChicagoJoe57 I lived there back in the 60s. Like I said it was a long time ago. I really had some fond memories of that area.

  • @CheckM8King2 You lived four blocks east from what was known as Drug City in the early 80s then. You could head down to Mack and Gray and then head to the corners of the back streets around that corner and buy whatever you wanted. Of course, Crack was the drug of choice back then. On the west side 21st was there crack city.

  • @ChicagoJoe57 Holy cow! I grew up at Mack and Coplin....went to Jackson Jr. High....

of course that was many years ago...lol

  • @CheckM8King2 Yes, never knew his family, personally, but knew people who knew the family. My friend had their satelite dish installed by his father's company, which is through his father's company he met the Curries. I had a friend who was pinched for selling dope on Mack and Gray and he remembers White boy Rick, even saw him two weeks before his first bust.

  • @ChicagoJoe57 Hi, thanks for refreshing my memory. I remember quite well this family dominating the local news for a while in the 80s.

  • @CheckM8King2 Yes, selling silencers and threatening the judge who sentenced his son. His father had a house in the Ravine in Southfield where all the dope dealers live.

  • White Boy Rick also use to live over on Concord and the Ford FWY (I-94) with his mother and sister, down the street from BillyJo Chambers who an apartment.
