hey there do u know how many episodes are going to be on the new shippuden box set coming out it January

I'm not really sure. Amazon's report of 100 minutes seems quite wrong since that would only be 4 episodes. Hopefully it'll be similar to the Naruto boxed sets which were about 15 episodes per.

I was intending to get this even though I've been buying the individuals so I'll try and remember to report on that.

Yes, Naruto Shippuden comes just after Naruto. (Well, it jumps forward until after Naruto's training with Pervy Sage...)
