  • Hi 111dcormack. Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. The manual only specifies child seat anchors for the outside back seats. I'm not sure if you could find a fix for including a third seat.

  • Thanks, Brycesail. I figured out how they got the surfboard in there. If you take the headrest off the front passenger seat, you can lay the back horizontal to the floor. Then you move the backrest of the backseat forward, put down a couple of mats and you end up with much more than 8' of cargo space length. You could easily stack 8' lengths of 2x4" lumber in there without touching the front or back. Here's a pic, measuring tape set at 8' - bobfoster.ca/prius/front_seat_back.jpg

  • This is a spectacular video.

  • test drove one today, I like!

  • The 2010 base Prius does come with heated mirrors, I've got one! What did you do with your 2010? Trade in? Did you loose a lot?

  • @c21CanadaBob

Bob: great video.....seriously interested in getting one now!

Do you know if you can put 3 child seats in the back? We have three kids under 3. ie did you notice child seat anchors at 6 positions or just 4......... cheers!

  • Thanks for making this! It was good to see in detail the gauges and audio system, which I didn't spend as much time looking at when I did my test drive. I think I've pretty much decided on getting this car (with the "luxury" trim package so that I can have the moon roof).

  • That thing is really spacious. What would be interesting is if they would use that frame and design a pop up camper on it? Could you imagine a motorhome that got 40MPG US.

  • Bob thanks for making this video of the Prius V. I have a 2010 Prius and a 2011 Honda CRZ hybrid, once we start a family the CRZ hybrid will be traded for the V. We get about 40mpg in the CRZ hybrid so getting better mileage + tons more rooms will be a blessing. I get about 55mpg in my 2010 Prius and love the car. I had a 2006 Prius that I put 143,000 miles on it, never had any issues with either Prius. The 06 got about 50mpg and was much louder on the highway than the new one. Nice work...
