Question: As far as I understand it the bright line is understood to be the tether stretching 12 miles across space. If this is the case then it's also at least half a mile wide (close-ups). Is that a fact? I'm not sure viewers aren't misinterpreting the picture, I'm guessing only a short end segment is visible which could hugely reduce the scale and distance of everything and bring ice/debris back into the equation. I'm yet to make my mind up but I feel something's off with the dimensions.

@boxa888, Reading your responses to other posters who do not agree with the position that this is anything other than debris, seems to show an over emphasis on background chatter that fits in context to the situation. I heard every utterance you caught and a few more but I disagree that the one guy says it could be a UFO. All the voices are calm and unhurried and the bits and pieces seem to fit with the idea that an experiment just failed. I think your grasping at straws using selective hearing.

@xtnslromeo well we are here to know the truth! you tell me what he said, i can only do so much, its all right there! the anger, the suppression, more than likely that line said UFO. use ur selective hearing and tell me what it is. there is background communication that is not normal, not calm, so there is a reason, there is more than the front communication. there is communications in other nasa videos that blutly say "ufo" "our friends" "extraterrestrial craft", so tell me what he said!!!

People are overlooking this ice crystal footage way too much :D, and the background vocies dont even match up, the ones that are matching only makes more sense, offcourse they are mad/dissepointed when the tether just broke :D. The Violet/infra Camera and the sun makes these Crystals appear and disappear into frame and also makes them pulsate and look illuminated. I dont see anyone stop or reverse, they all move in one direction, thats how vacum works. And no, they dont go behind the tether.

1 : Nasa is a space disinfo agent, not surprising.

2:: They are holding the biggest lie's that the public are fully not aware off.

you can totally hear them in the background and they are totally miffed by it...there are so many objects...it's not calm you hear but shocked awe. Some of the stuff zipping around is just space ice/debris...but how can you say the weird shape circular ones with the notch out & the pulsating light with a hole at the centre which stop & start & change direction are space ice/debris..get a grip..if they are then what force is acting on them to make them move in such un-space ice/debris like ways?

@UltimateRealist If it's 12 miles in total length, it may also be that the tether is at a skewed angle to the line of sight of the camera.

Ok, a couple of things here. First, the camera is out of focus. One astronauts apologizes that he cannot improve the focus right at the very end of the clip. The camera not being in focus will inflate the size of a small object and will distort shapes. The same thing occurs with "orbs" (dust specs) of spirit energy in paranormal investigations. The second is that your only reference is the lost tether and without knowing its motion it is not possible to judge the motion of the background objects
