you should have to carry the MG like they did in WWII, over you shoulder, not out in front of you

@tatetalk That is hardly practical in a combat situation, only useable when on the march.

Holding it out in front of you may be heavy but you can aim it quicker, and in a life or death situation that is preferred over shouldering the weapon.

This is parade ground antics not suitable for a battlefield.

hi there, i have 2 questions.

1. Are there new sounds? (death sounds, weapons sounds, etc.)

2. has a release date been confirmed?

I assume they are redoing the sounds, but for now i think they use the old RO sounds as a placeholder.

And there has been no set date, though it's probable it releases somewhere in 2010.

@SiCDisaster You know shit. MG teams where two and sometimes three men. One carried the machine gun and another for the mount and ammunition. They would set the weapon up and the second man would assist loading and spot targets.

Times where the weapon was fired rambo style left the operators skin seared onto the weapon and had often had to be taken out as a casualty after the desperate act was over. Lets not forget the weight of these things either. Not all of these had a carrying handle.

you can see them used like assault rifles in 1941-43, especially MG34s with drum mags, there is footage of them being used by the pointman in trench clearing

@tatetalk Ya the PC is awesome, rts games can't be played on consoles, and games like Diablo, FPS games can be played on consoles but it feels more smooth on PC, only thing I have to complain about is you don't have to buy new upgrades to your console to get it to handle the latest games...
