This was my first deadlift workout with the chains I just received from my family as a present. There is 4 and a half plates on the bar (i.e. 455 lbs) plus 100 lbs of chain weight. My goal is to be able to get 500 lbs of bar weight with 100 lbs of chains. We'll see how long it takes...

  • How was your back after that?! Impressive lift!

  • Thanks man...I appreciate that. My back was fine...I have hit 500 lbs with the chains since then. The vid's up some where...

  • awesome work!

  • Thanks bro...I appreciate the comment.

  • awesome lift as usual! where do you find huge chains like that?

  • We picked them up at an industrial supply store. They are just over 30 lbs each...then the medium ones are 15 lbs each, and the small chains are 5 lbs each. You can also order chains via Westside Barbell or Elite FTS.

  • I have no idea what it means either! lol

  • Thanks bro...I would love to LOL with you, but I honestly have no idea what "wedge" means...

  • Thanks Mark...

Actually, it didn't feel that bad once I got the bar to my knees. I am the same on deadlifts as with the bench...the lock-out portion is always easy...

  • I agree with the other dude... this lift was a total "wedge". lol

    Nice work man!!
