its not taken away from you when its used to create a society that facilitates and provides a majority of your needs. enjoy your desolate landscape of concrete, consumerism, and self-centeredness. you obviously have a good grasp on what humans need. strawman-of-tyranny intellectual-fail.

Hey I don't care whether we are changing the climate or not. The fact is that there aren't enough resources that can sustain our way of living: no oil, no coal, no water, no fields. We are destroying all these resources. You can deny human-made climate change (even though I don't) but you can't deny our unsustainable way of living, right ?

As an architecture student, This man and the people he works with to inspire ideas and accomplish what they do is like a massive energy and inspirational boost every time i watch!
Blows me away every time. It's like a shining light on the profession. and he's so good at keeping peoples attention. I've shown most of my non- architecture friends his TED Talks and they get just as inspired.

You do not need to steal half of people's income to provide basic needs for a population.

I have seen Switzerland and Denmark. Switzerland is preferable, enviromentally, socially and criminal statistics - plus the overall tax burden is less than 37%.

you have simple sizing issues - do you even realize how many thousands of tons of CO2 is produced by a medium sized powerplant creates, and how massive those glasshouses would have to be? By the way there is a better way - CO2 negative cement....(one that absorbs CO2 in being manufactured, not releasing it).
