'Global warming phantom menace, Kyoto costs & hurts a lot'

France, Japan and China have lashed out at Canada for pulling out of the 1997 Kyoto climate change agreement. The move, which was legal and expected, came as the country said the accord hampered its development. Peter Lilley, a Conservative MP in Britain is sympathetic, saying these commitments are enormously expensive investments in a very uncertain future.

Where does the money from the carbon tax actually go?? In British Columbia, Canunkistan it goes into "General Revenue" and not one penny is put into any kind of Enviromental Cause, that actually works. The BC "LIEberals" (see US Republicans) have even stated that their Carbon Tax on gas (almost .30 cents a US gallon) has nothing to do with Climate Change but was intended to get PERSONAL vehicles off the road, and they have failed. After several years with this extortion, the Corporate Govt annouced ANOTHER Gas Tax, the other day.

Have you noticed since this idiot grp has come to the forefront, via a corrupt politcian and of all things Hollywood, that we have actually STOPPED talking about REAL pollution. The disasterous Oil Sands in Canada, Nuke Power, and over 6000 TONNES of deadly radioactive material (DU) spread all over the ME are subjects I would like to discuss. (These three alone are killing millions around the world)

In the cretaceous CO2 fell to one part per 1,000,000. And 90% of life on earth died. Since the little ice age global carbon dioxide has been fixed at two parts per 1,000,000 by photosynthesis! Local levels over cities have no global significance.
