if my friend saw this video i think he'd punch you in the face for putting a chevrolet engine in a ford made car

I hate to agree with the mouth piece below, but you should never put a Chev engine into a Ford. On a side note, the guy driving the car on such a narrow street is a moron. Smart like truck.

So, you do know it originally came with a ford engine right..... not a chevy.......

This guy should burn in hell.

Hey dog eats****,you're half right. The roadsters were based on AC ace's,but the coupe was based on a roadster chassis Ken Miles had wrecked. The coupe body is all Shelby original. Even the Ace's had to be beefed up here & there to take the torque of the then new :"compact" SB V8...the newer 289 was a lighter, more compact casting than the 292 it was derived from. My dad cast them in Cleveland.

just not the same without numbers on it :P

Beautiful car but how would you have felt if it hit someone or something?Do that shit on a track.

Pretty sweet. I have been considering either building a Daytona Coupe replica with an LS7 or swapping an LS7 into a 50s-60s corvette with a highly modified chassis.
-
the AC Cobra Roadster yes, BUT..... the Daytona 65 coupe was hand built by Carol Shelby and many of his best builders/fabricators here in the good ol' US of A. and he chose to run Ford Running Gear for a reason...... they win races and do it well

doesnt sound or accelerate as good as a small block ford, thats for sure
Is this guy for real? Are you sure you know where the real one is? Even if you can find it I doubt you can hear it run. If it sounds like crap why are you keep watching the video? Do me a favor and go watch some Hondas videos.

Yes it's a Cobra Z. There are 8 of these on the whole world. I say it's pretty rare right.
