Just lovely... *sigh*

Any Scottish fans (or anyone for that matter) should check out a fellow Scottish singer Gordon Wiseman and his song "In My Dreams".
He also comes from East Kilbride which is Roddy's hometown.

I love Roddy Frame. He has written such poignant and sensitive lyrics ever since he emerged at 17 on the UK scene with Aztec Camera. He is a maestro guitarist.

Well, since i discovered this song, 1984 i guess, i always feel the same emotion. Roddy frame is an fantastic musician and its words speak to me because of the emotions they carry... so close to my personnal feelings over the years.
Please, never stop singing Roddy !

One of the most beautiful songs written in the English language, ever.

suggs59: I think you mean musical ACTS that are no better than trailer trash are household names in the states. Your poorly constructed sentence may imply that Roddy acts no better than trailer trash. See what I am saying... kid?

@suggs59 Hello Sugges - can you explain what you mean a bit more. I understand that his is virtually unknown, but I don't understand your comment that he "acts no better than trailer trash household names.." What do you mean?

quite right!!
I think in these times we use the word Genius too easily.
But in this case, I think it is not enough just to call Roddy Frame a Genius.
He is indeed more than that..................
