i think Marquez gained the weight much better against Pacquiao than against Mayweather, he was too slow to cope. the version of Marquez that was against Pacquiao would do better against Mayweather than Marquez did before. Not that he would win though.

@TheTrojanabuser I NEVER SAID ITS JUDGE WITH ONE PUNCH GOD stop trying to just make me look bad cause i dont care. mr "Boxing expert" your wasting our time arguing whos expert. IM ASKING YOU HOW MUCH SHOULD A JUDGE SCORE An EFFECTIVE PUNCH cause clearly you are saying marquez landed more EFFECTIVE PUNCHES than Pacquiao's punches. Do they give it 2pts each time marquez lands an effective punch? God you're a boxing expert but not an English expert i suppose.

if stats shows pac throwing more punches and landing more thats effective aggressioin. if pac face showing a fresher face than jmm thats effective defence. the only criteria jmm won is ring generalship coz pac played to his way of fighting.if u watch 1 time only u would say jmm won coz your mindset is that pac will dominate jmm. if u watch it a 2nd 3rd time u would see that pac won 7-5 rounds.

@J3ANP3T3R ok, clearly you dont understand boxing my friend.Its not just judged off one punch.Its counting all the punches and harder punches eliminate 2-3 softer punches.I can be here explaining this for hrs to you.just know that Marquez landed the more clean effective punches in the fight.I love boxing and i come from a family of boxers so I know the sport very well. Not only did I believe Marquez won but so did many other champion boxers and hall of famers including Mannys pal AMIR KHAN.

@J3ANP3T3R Clean, EFFECTIVE PUNCHING is the single most important thing to look for in scoring a fight. It is punching that reaches any legal area of an opponent’s body with LITTLE or no HINDRANCE along the route. GLANCING punches mean much LESS to a judge than clean, solid ones. And harder punches mean more than softer punches. Thats a quick summary of what effective punching means. Thats just 1/3 fases of the fight that Marquez won.Pac got the 4th in aggression but it wasnt affective.countered

@TheTrojanabuser You said the outcome of the fight should be determined by whos punches were more effective. how can you determine that. might i just add , i grew up around fighters , pacquiao used to live 3 streets away from me. We had no other sports in Mindanao and basketball wasnt that popular here except in Manila. i have been watching fights here BUT ima tell you i will never consider my self a "Boxing Fan" or a "Boxing expert" like you meant you were. We are fighters here not technicians.

@J3ANP3T3R Not true because African American boxers are known for not bruising as mujch as light skinned fighters so what you say goes out the window.Dude, you obviously didnt grow up around boxing so this is the last message I am writing to you.I truly believe now that Pacquiao is a Fraud and is nowhere near as good as they make him out to be and he got schooled last saturday.Have not seen a better performance by Marquez in his whole career.
