A New Hope for the Future: Duality Is Illusion.
I am a wonderful, perfect and loving spiritual man in the eyes of our creator. I am also living with HIV.
Spirituality and being HIV positive. Can they coexist? I say yes, they can. I can also say that being HIV positive has actually made my connection with my spirituality much much stronger. You see, we are never given anything in our lives that we cannot handle. Everything we are given is a divine gift. It is our attitude towards our circumstances that defines us as who we are as a true spirit living in the light of all that is wonderful, true and good. Many still cling to the idea that HIV is a punishment for being a "bad person". This misinformed idea is rooted in deep fear. Unfortunately, many HIV positive people believe this is true about themselves. I hope through starting this video blog that I help show everyone that having HIV is not a punishment. I also hope that, by sharing tidbits of my life, our attitudes towards everyone becomes less of a struggle and more an embrace of our differences. These will be my experiences. But I also hope all can relate and learn, as I do on a daily basis.
Do not believe that my video blog is going to be solely focused upon my HIV status. The only reason I divulge the fact I am HIV positive is because it has accelerated my spirit towards the greater truth that is within us all. That truth being is that we're not at all separate from one another. We are all headed for the same ascension. We are all destined to leave this world of duality. We are all destined to return to the supreme source. And in that space, there is nothing but pure love. My hope is that some of that pure love can be felt in this perceived reality we are in at the moment.
Having come so very close to death makes one realize what is important in life. It also makes one realize that trivial drama is completely unnecessary.
To many, myself included, this world seems to be spiraling out of control. We are being pitted against each other. Black against white, Christian against Muslim, straights against gays, Republicans against Democrats, etc. Do you not see this is all an illusion? Can you not comprehend how childish this seems? Certainly, when we were in grade school, it was important for us to seem popular and to fit in with the cool crowd. As we move along in years, it seems as if we still cling to the idea that we need to be part of the popular group instead of respecting each other for our differences. Loving and respecting others who are different is not a difficult task. Actually, clinging to the idea that our differences makes others our enemies or less important is truly the only thing on this earth that can be considered a so-called "sin".
Think about it. When you feel hate or anger or fear towards a person or group of people who are different from you, how does that make you feel? Your blood pressure rises noticeably and you get a gnawing feeling in your gut. If you were to feel that way because of an illness, you would be at the doctor's office ASAP. Every emotion you feel that is not a true feeling of love is based on fear. This is a simple concept, and you know this to be true.
And the remedy is just as simple as the concept: respect yourself and respect others who are different than yourself. Agree to disagree. This is not difficult. This is simple, yet many make it such an enormous issue. Many also resort to violence. This is exactly what the dark cabal wants. Those who resort to such violence and such hatred are, in essence, spreading a virus...spreading a disease. Love and respect is the answer for this. And you know what? Love and respect doesn't cost a damn thing! Consider your new perspective of love and respect as the ultimate "bailout" for humanity.
I pray every day that the world's attitude changes for the betterment of humanity. I believe deeply that a massive change of consciousness is right around the corner. Many perceive 2012 as being "the end of the world". In a manner of speaking, I believe it will be. I believe it will be the end of our division and the beginning of a new consciousness that will show that what I have stated before is true. We are all one. We are all the same. Hate and fear are illusions. Love reigns supreme.
