I love this waltz... I play it too but with a diatonic accordion. I didn't know it played by a concertina. It's very nice too !

Yes, it is actually possible to do both, the melody and accompaniment on EC. It just takes getting used to and careful arrangement.

Hey - I think I recognise this tune from the soundtrack of the Spanish film 'En la ciudad de Sylvia'.
Impressive that you can do the 'oom-pah-pah' accompaniment as well as the tune on an English system concertina (I'm a beginner at it myself).

Hi! Actually I don't do the bass accompainment on the english concertina. I'm playing over the original tune, so that's the bass you're hearing! I don't think it is physically possible to do chords and solo on the english concertina, because the scale is divided in both sides of the concertina! thanks for your comment and regards!
