An EMD TR-6 switcher locomotive leads the daily caboose train along the one mile loop at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola, California.

This engine, once used by the Sierra Pacific lumber mill in Quincy, California is still sporting it's original P-3 horn and was donated to the museum once it was no longer needed in regular service.

Thanks For Watching and Enjoy!

  • To see damage to the train tracks in the Feather River Canyon during the flood of 97, search for flooding in the Feather River Canyon or "1997 New Years Flood in Plumas County Trailer"
