  • Shhh! Don't tell the world about David! We wouldn't be able to afford the venues and festivals to see him. David Mayfield with his current group is a treat like The Beat Farmers were. A bit unknown, seen, but not mentioned in polite company. All kidding aside you should have seen the look Jeff Hanna gave him at the close of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band set. His eyes brightened when Mr. Mayfield did his thing. I hope he saw the future.

  • Both so talented, yet Jessica is splashed all over the Rolling Stone, not a word about David...

  • @MrBirdlady92 I know!I never even knew his music aside from this video until his Roo show.. Hope you'll get another chance to see him! I purchased the DMP cd at the table after the Roo show-it literally stayed in my car cd player until at least October. I got lucky enough to catch DMP again at a festival in KY a few months back it was great too. Now that I've become better acquainted with their tunes...I can't believe The David Mayfield Parade & JLM aren't more well known/popular.

  • Love this!

  • .They say Crackerfarm records some of these videos in bathrooms! Going to be worth a million some day when they are all famous & junk

  • look at her collarbone, those legs and creamy skin...mmmmm

  • this video is incredible. I've watched it a hundred times probably, and I smile every time.

  • @MushBeeguy I agree. I like Jessica, but it's strange to me that she gets all this attention when her brother is waaaaaayyyyyy more talented than she is. But like you said, it's great seeing his band how they are now. I saw them in a small bar a couple months ago with maybe 25 people in attendance. I'm going next week to see him at the same bar. I talked to David for a bit at that show and he's a really awesome dude. Very modest and sincerely grateful to people who appreciate what he does.

  • @redballtn

    No shit?

You mean she made the cover of Rolling Stone?

  • @krystledawnful They played together during Jessicas's set too. I'd never heard David before, so when he took Jessica's guitar and started shredding I was blown away. I'm sad i didn't get to see David's set.
