This is just the sound of pureness. When you get to the save rooms, you've just faced evil monsters. You're low on ammo, you have no idea what else you might have to confront, then you enter this room and you instantly realise that you are safe, thanks to this music.

@bluknight99 There's nothing strange about that. Music affects us more than we realize and what you're thinking is perfectly normal. If I were in their position in real life and had to deal with all of the horror of that house and lab then I'd be scared out of my mind, too I'd probably wanna stay in the closet or tool shed or whichever save room and just type away while listening to the music rather than the stress and fear of being killed by some mutant or zombie. It's a tough game

I know it's weird, but I always felt bad for Chris or Jill when I saved and logged off. I figured if there was a strange parallel universe where video games were real, then they would be scared out of their minds, stuck in a freaky mansion w/ zombies and other horrors, hiding in a little room or closet w/ a typewriter and creepy but soothing music playing until I decided to come back. I know...strange.
