We were inspired by the latest National Geographic and David Doubilet's nudibranch pictutes to go on a nudibranch photo safari in our local tidepools. We expected to find the half dozen nudibranch species we knew about, but ended up finding 20 species in a small area! This vid contains some of the nudibranchs and other animals we found. We were especially interested in the juvenile rockfish in the large tidepool. Shot during the low tides of June 2008 in Humboldt County, California.
Excellent study in the abundance of life all around us. Discovered some new critters. Thanks!
