C.H.A.N.G.E. Ohio Confronts Macy's & P&G about RFID

Procter & Gamble and Wal-Mart "concealed" RFID readers in contact paper placed under store shelves and embedded RFID antenna chips in packages of Max Factor Lipfinity lipstick. A camera trained on the shelves enabled P&G executives to view Webcam images from 750 miles away in Cincinnati. The P&G researchers "could tell when lipsticks were removed from the shelves and could even watch consumers in action."

RFID has been a concern of mine for quit some time. I had always thought they would never go through with it, given the privacy violations. Turns out I was wrong and they are going ahead with the technology. I decided a visit to some of these companies to let them know that we know was in order. Both Proctor & Gamble and Macy's corporate headquarters are located in Cincinnati, along with another RFID leader that I didnt have time to get, Johnson & Johnson. I started at Macy's corporate which sent me to the human resources department in a separate building. The interview at Macy's is in the video and the person I spoke with admitted that the technology is being looked at and implemented. I then continued to Proctor & Gamble where I was not met with open arms. I managed to infiltrate the lobby for quite some time before security arrived. Here is the punchline of the whole thing, why is a private security firm responsible for guarding nuclear plants doing with a P&G contract? What else might they have in the works that they are less open about...

well you are getting better at this, but you still need to learn to stand up for yourself instead of going along and doing whatever they tell you to do. Ie. they tell you to leave, you run outside. Stand in the middle of the building and challenge them is what I would say. Don't cause a big problem, but don't let them chase you off like a stray dog.

Also about "BlackWater" & "Wackenhut" -if u don't know what they are about Please look into it. nutshell -Nazi's & Mussolini had secret police they hired. (off the books/off the record) U may remember hearing about the 'brown shirts'. (they don't teach it in school now) well the evil people in our own u.s. gov. did the same (espec. in Iraq) -so they can say, "Our guys didn't kill them, it was some militia group!" ChangeOHIO, we just wanted to say a huge, "Thank you!" to you guys and gals for doing things like this. Watching the video tape here it's easy to feel 'against' it. (it is amateur, the camera/shot wobbles around, the person attempting to interview is very polite and not looking for any audience, all of this & of course people do not like confrontation or to be bothered learning something new if its not in their face right now. Doing this stuff is difficult but so important to get the word out.
