friendly blue jay

A wild bird visits with a family in Longwood, FL. We named her Turtle. She comes by every day, eats from our hand and tells us stories. An exceptional, loving blue jay. We met in March. She went somewhere else in July,2008 We'll miss her.

we raised a blue jay in Jacksonville when I was a little kid and released him back into the wild when he became old enough. the smartest bird I ever saw as he was always able to escape his cage.

@calleyne90 Humans are even more disgusting, when you think about it. Most people aren't a pretty sight, and a lot of them smell. (Kids are the worst... they pick their noses and eat the boogers, stick their hands in their pants and fondle themselves, and then don't wash their hands.)

And speaking of shit, consider the socially-accepted way we clean ourselves after taking a dump. If you had shit on your fingers, would you use dry tissue paper to wipe them off (instead of soap/water?)
