Hilda passed away July 01, 2008 after being comatose over the weekend because of a tragic accident she met while in Tagaytay with her family last 28 June 2008 (Saturday).

Although we never spoke to each other in high school, Hilda will always be a part of us. As the younger sister of my close friend & batchmate Anna, such a tragic loss hits close to home. I felt the shock, sadness, anger, & reality all at once. As to why gifted & special people get taken from us we may never know, but the Almighty always has a plan. The Layug family can always count on us for prayers, support, or a simple shoulder to cry on.

A new angel has arrived in heaven. May the ones left behind find peace in the memories and comfort one another with the same love she gave everybody.

Thank you carol for nice video you did for our friend hilda.
we will miss her so much.... but i know where ever she is now she is happy, peaceful and shes watching us together with our almighty lord.

I miss you my friend! It is still hard to view your pictures. Somehow, I just hope that someday, I can get over this sadness. I know that you are now at peace with our Creator.I will never forget you Mards.
