  • THANKS you make it a lot easier for those of us JUST starting out.. This is my 3rd intro i'm trying to learn.only been 3 mo's. I try to practice but only find an hour or a week, if time allows,, are you running your axe through destortion box?& what setting on amp i'm clueless on that stuff, @ the moment,, I just turn up or down the gain & vol. so any info would helpfull ,, AND!! Best wishes to you and yours This Holiday .. THANK YOU ... ps sorry bout the spelling .

  • @banzaimotorcross Well, hang in there, I understand about practice time, but every little bit helps if you work constructively on something. I play through a computer with Guitar Port, it's a $60-90 dollar USB plug & comes with software. Highly recommended-it has "settings" for different styles and artists. To get a rock sound turn up distortion or pre-amp (sort or the same thing) and that will give you distortion. The rest of the settings are based on your ear-I go half way and play with them.

  • I am a total guitar rookie....can you explain what a "double stop" is?

FYI....I've been looking for a how to video on this song for quite some time...THANKS!!!

  • @5d6195 A "double stop" is playing two strings together. Ususally it's used to make a "reference" to a chord without really playing a full chord. Glad to hear this helps ~ Joe
