  • When George dressed up as a cat on celebrity Big Brother with Barrymore, was when I really started to take him seriously.

  • @johnbaptist15 George Galloway is a deplorable apologist of the highest order.

He allies himself with disgusting individuals, groups and views in acts of outrageous hypocrisy to further his agenda.

Had he been around in 1939 he would be bending over backwards to justify Hitler's regime.

He is someone who deeply hates the people, country and values of which he originates from.

  • you are out of your depth, "Bacon". And shown up for the ignorant stooge that you are.

  • @VonManavis You are comparing Bertrand Russell with George Galloway?......ok

Russell understood the evils of the great dictators of his time, he did not salute their indefatigability, Praise the actions of terrorists, suck up to any tin pot dictator that would give him an audience.

Galloway is an agitator, he gets off on it. Russells motives were based on a far purer conviction of beliefs and and integrity.

There is truth to your point but I think the comparison is flawed.

  • @macd007

I am almost certain that they were accusing Bertrand Russell of the same stuff back then.

  • @SirAFILN ah, so context of opinion is important to you? it means more than content?

So if a camera is pointed in my direction whilst giving opinion this somehow gives it more weight? Objectivity? Credibility?

This explains the fabulous insight of some of the great thinkers of our time, Peter Andre or Paris Hilton. Or perhaps its this "balls" thing of telling as many people as you can of your view in public arena that you admire, how about Hitler then?

Im sure you're smart in real life

  • @macd007 To say the Least.. Atleast he has balls to say what he wants on Live TV.. What are you? A Keyboard deplorable apologist of the highest order? I Would take you more seriously if I see you there speaking out.. Till Then stick to Modern Warfare.

  • @macd007 I don't buy the excuse either, but that's the reason this shouldn't just be taken as a difference of culture or a difference of religion. People get so excited about how drawing muhammad has upset the muslims, but that's just pouring salt into an already gaping wound. It's rarely just one little thing.

There are elements of their cultures that we find abhorrent, but there are many middle eastern countries and the extent to which the most brutal customs are accepted varies.

  • @CuriousMoth I don't buy that apologist excuse of "retaliation".

I believe the problems you talk of in the region you mention actually stem from a clash of civilisation that dates from the inception of opposing cultures.

  • And in classic fashion, after correcting your grammar, I leave not one, but two typos XD "... and they'll never right the wrongs with cruel and murderous action."

In any case, I'd say the people of the middle east who might feel tempted to take violent action against the west should instead take the time to realise that if they were not viewed as a guilty party they would enamour more support from the people of the west and through protest that'd go a long way to bringing peace.

  • @macd007 You mean, "... from which he originates"?

Anyway, I wouldn't go so far as to say he would be supporting Hitler, but he rationalises evil acts by holding them against similarly evil acts committed by the west. The disgusting individuals to whom you refer are retaliating against our own attacks and our own manipulations in the middle east, which date back nearly a hundred years. Thing is, violence begets violence and they'll never right the wrongs will cruel and muderous action.

  • George Galloway for leader for the UN ...
