@shimmer1 Well put, man. I have only listened to the post-Fish era sporadically, so I'm not an expert. I have to give Hogarth (and ALL the band members) credit, they've kept it going for a long time. But for me, it's an easy decision as to which era I prefer -- no question at all!

@shimmer1 Excellent points, man.

thats music for you, passion ! I dont think anyone is complaining Fish is not in the band, more so that they dont really pay any respect to their most popular era, and play, by and large to hardcore fans only. I guess Hogarth would feel as he has fronted the band for 24 years he shoudnt have to, id probably be the same. its a tough one, i saw them in 91 aged 15 and everyone was still yelling out Grendal and Script and you could see he was getting frustrated...

@dufortrph in fairness to Hogarth he really wanted to them to change the name, but for the first album was never gonna say it, and the others wouldnt. The issue really is, Marillion to Hogarth is Marillion in name and that's it, he doesn't stand for anything that the band did pre seasons end and fair play to him. Unfortunately for many, that was the most precious song writing era. Problem is, they dont want to go there, many of their fans do and SH cant pull it off so what do you do.

Sure seems like they are into it to me!

I cannot believe that people are still complaining 25 years later that Fish is not in the band????????? Are you fucking kidding me???

Kayleigh sung by H is acceptable, but Levander? not really on my mind. some kind of horror for me... I agree also, Marillion without Fish is not Marillion

@Verhoh bla. bla. bla.

@TheCredo77 "we"?? speak for yourself man. especially if what you've got to say is bullshit.

@shimmer1 I agree 100% -- you made a very eloquent point. I really think that when Hogarth joined the band, they should've changed the name from Marillion to something else. He's talented, but he's most definitely not Fish.
noone sounds like fish... overall not a bad performance.
