  • China may have stolen the Tibetan Land, but Tibetans will always be Tibetans in their hearts.

China will never conquer the Tibetan_ people, because deep down the Tibetans will never accept Chinese rule.

China can pretend that the physical Tibet belongs to them, but Spiritually, Tibet belongs to the Tibetans.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama is Tibet.

    • Long Live His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama.

  • Thank you for the beautiful film. It is always so wonderful to see His Holiness and then to see a film about it.

    In dynamic peace and compassion,

    Sonam

  • the Dalai clique still represents the interests of remnant forces of the feudal serfowners in old Tibet. All the brothers and sisters of the Dalai Lama served in high positions in the Dalai clique

  • Thank you for this informative. Ive just watched a few videos in the internet, especially What Tsem Rinpoche thinks of the Dalai Lama??!! Which I think gives more insight about His Holiness and Tibetan Buddhism. I do hope people will not argue about His Holiness political role and focus more on his religious role, which he has contributed a lot.

  • Chinas repressive and violent campaigns have led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Tibetans, the Dalai Lama said yesterday in a speech in Dharamshala, while urging Tibetan and Chinese people to live as friends. These 50 years have brought untold suffering and destruction to the people of Tibet, Free Tibet !, and long live the Dalai Lama!! May all his wishes quickly be achieved.

  • This "simple monk" is the light of the world for the time being. Let everybody be happy because of this.

  • I am SO sick of the Shugden thing. I practiced Shugden for years, and The Dalia Lama has done WAY more for world peace than Shugden, NKT or Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. All the NKT does is fundraise and make noise about Shugden. They started a sub-group "Western Shugden society." They are so deceptive they cannot even admit it is their group, they call it "Independent." Buddhism should be about more than ONE deity. That's why the Dalia Lama banned it. THE PRACTICE IS DIVISIVE! Read the Puja!

  • Ops, sorry, Buddhism do not believe in God, although they have the concept of God, angel, as well as the Satan, ghost, etc. To believe in this 'creature' is not required in Buddhism, instead, Buddha teach those Buddhist to trust, believe in self, look into their own mind, cultivate it with compassion and wisdom, and finally reach a status called Enlightenment.

  • CIA only backed him temporarily along with Tibetan geurilla forces during the early years of the Chinese occupation. He is also not behind the riots, that is just Chinese propoganda. Furthermore, show me one photo where he is wearing Gucci shoes. I've seen him wearing old sandals though.
