Sleepwake is a sculptural depiction of a robot head by Juneau Projects. The title refers to "The Coming Technological Singularity", an essay by Vernor Vinge which argues that machines will 'wake up' with the creation of strong artificial intelligence. This will signal the end of the 'human era'.
