As promised I took a drive to the west end of Panama City Beach and into Walton County looking for tarballs and other effects of the BP spill. I saw two dead catfish, dark staining of the surface of the sand and the mysterious brown foam that Pcolagreg often reports seeing. I also found some oil covered debris.

  • Thank's help's me a bunch planing a trip to pc florida

  • I think those are weathered tar balls. Did they stink? Second that sea foam does look really suspicious. The boot prints are probably from BP workers who were out cleaning in the night or just before dawn. The second fish was very interesting because it had bird prints all around it but they didn't eat it. hmmm! I'm riding out to Pcola Beach today. Will upload if I find anything interesting. Oh and BTW. Obama didn't swim in the gulf he swam in Alligator Bay inland!

  • Note: Normally a washed up fish is easy breakfast for Birds --- again, here as everywhere else i've seen, They Wont Touch it.

  • Nice catch on the Boot prints...Thank you so much for the vid.

  • if it was my beach I would be very concerned.
