My way of handling banks is this: don't use them except where there is some sort of payment that needs to go through the bank by law. Banks may transact for me. Banks may not hold my savings.

It is very difficult in searching out the truth, especially when money is involved. For example I was at round table discussion this morning about a new drug that was reviewed by JAMA. It was supposed to have been an independent study, but in fact it was probably funded by a major drug company. After carefully delving into this study the results looked suspect and the results that were obtained were done by 'bad science'. So with everything you have to check everything and not just believe.:P
