  • Good God That was awesome!!! What type of vocoder did you use?? I want one haha =)

  • I used the vocoder that comes with Logic Express 8. I'll have to check and see exactly what it's called. I know it's included with the logic express 8 package tho.

  • @lectrond sometimes imogen heap uses a hardware vocoder live, and also she did that in the studio for the most part if I remember, but her studio version is layered in a few places aswell, but she used a keyboard with like a soft string pad setting and a vocoder at the same time both in the studio and for her live performances obviously, and you dont need a click for a vocoder, even if you had a click it would be harder to add the vocoder after, it'l sound better if you play and sing.

  • I have logic to and I see what your doing. Was the lead vocal done without a click track and the voycoder added after? Can you do it live? I mean, when Imogen does it live she uses a Keyboard and what looks like Ableton Live. I want to do this live but the original song sounds like its not done to any beat so syncing up the voice to the Voycoder seems almost imposable with out a click track or a keyboard. Or maybe I just answered my own question. Anyway, great job

  • So many questions about types of vocoder, settings or chords.

Hey people, wake up! Just stop looking at your monitors. Stop asking.

Stop looking for some magical button or hit-presets.

Stop trying to be somebody you're not.

Go to your piano, midi-keys, guitar or just use your own voice and your heartbeat. Right now.

This is enouth. This is simple. This is funny. This is amazing. Just do it!

Nice work, Bruce! Very open-hearted perception, Amelia!)

  • What Are The Chords??

  • Which preset do you use on the vocoder?

  • you don't happen to have the settings and what not (a tutorial maybe?) of how to re-create this? thanks.

  • awesome....

  • Hi Jammi, can you give me exactly the name of this vocoder?

  • Can you show the settings you used in the Vocoder that would be amazing! :-)
