The SOG Pendulum MB-01 knife utilizes the SOG ARC-Lock system. When you use the dual-sided thumb stud to open the Pendulum, the bolster rotates out, then returns to the original position, locking the blade in place. To unlock the blade, you slide the bolster. The straight edge blade is made of VG-10 steel for superior edge retention. The textured glass reinforced nylon handle and notched liners provide a solid gripping surface. These features and more combine to make the Pendulum unique, stylish, and functional.

can you flick the sog pendulums blade out or does the bolster provide too much resistance

@PavlovSandor It's not too bad, and I think a pretty quick flick could happen with a little practice. The knife does however have more resistance on the open than a knife where the bolster doesn't move.

VG-10 is a Great steel ! I prefer fixed blades but this would be a great EDC ! Thanks 4 the review !
