@BreakingPoint2k hey ,fuck you dumb shit! i dont know about you but there is NO road whatsoever on,over,in or under my yard. and my yard is mostly rocks and hills and when it rains all the dirt gets wet and turns into mud. another thing that is special about my yard by the way. and FYI the correct abbreviation for the word etcetera is etc. ,not ext because the word is et-cet-era not exetera. stupid ass.

@corvettkiller666 YOUR FUCKED think of it what do you think the word mower means?
Obviously you use the "off the road" but offroad more means Like mud/rocks/hills ext.

@mossbergman11 Put a small pulley on the trany and a big one on the motor.

...dont you usually use mowers off-road? i might be wrong though
-
Or you could just hit the clutch a little so it doesn't engage the brake....
hey how do you make lawn mowers go fast like this?

change the gear ratio with different size pullies. But rember to take safety into thought when making it anything but stock.

pully puller .. or torches lol make sure you dont get it too hot and wreak the seals. Also make sure all pins, set screws, ect are out/off.

i was thinking if the motor was a 19 horse wouldnt the gears be able to handle a little more abuse
redmand18 4 years ago
as long as you dont gear it too high. The transaxle can usually handle alot of power, what breaks them is spinning them too fast.
