Thanks to you I learned not to be afraid of messing up and drastically cut down on the number of layers I use. Between the liquify tool (which I first started using because of you) and confidence in my skill I feel that any mistake that I might make can be corrected (albeit with patience).
Still a begginer but I feel like slowly but surely I'm improving. I'm really greatful to you and others like you who take time to make these videos.

i looked to the right and saw it was one layer, and went O GOD PLEASE DONT MESS UP

do you by any chance use references with your work?
-
you're a big inspiration to me

Congratulations Diane. I bought a graphic tablet and a graphic program and i will go on. I like your style. I am the fun of Stephanei Valentine but your style is a bit different. I like your technique. Why dont you build a web site. I am looking forward to it.

How do you blend those colors in photoshop!? D:
Im having a hard time blending colors there, so I use a different program to paint and enhance stuff in photoshop.. O_O If I try to blend things in photoshop, they just overlap each other..no blending at all D:

@Androlola : Read the tutorial and you might find out :P

Why did you go into black-white once?
(ok, that were many questions :)
-
I see you paint it totally in ONE layer :O what is this one special layer for?
Did you use some special brushes for hair, or did you just take a soft round one?
At the fist video, when you started to draw the second eye, how did you created this wire?
your patience must be endless o_o
how long did it actually take to finish this picture?

Many thanks. As a beginner in this medium, you've helped me a lot. I was never really good at blending but hopefully I'll get the knack of it after I've read through your tutorials and practiced my skill. Thanks!

I'm glad this could help :)
Keep practising, that's the only way to acquire a good technique... you'll be able to blend colors very fast then :)
