  • Kelly's voice is the richest and deepest of the 3. Tamia's is the lightest and also the highest-placed. If Kelly were put on top, the vocal balance would be off. Any musician with an ear would tell you that.

Also, I doubt Kelly can sustain stratospheric singing for, say, 2-3 hours. She is best singing in the low and middle ranges, with occasional forays into the stratosphere.

Disclaimer: I'm a die-hard Kelly Price fan and can't wait for the CD.

  • OMG!!! I have so been waitin on dis 4ever!!!!!! Im so excited! Tamia gave me a fierce top note, wit deborah N the middle and Kelly on the bottom!

  • all of 3 voices of the late 90's and early 2000's are simply signature. the dynamics are untouched. no beyonce', no kelly rowland, no lady gaga, or anybody else of this new age can duplicate the sound of these three. simply legendary.

  • I LOVE ALL of these women. Deborah's voice is so strong, and Kelly's has so much soul, and Tamia's has that angelic high pitch voice. :)

  • If Kelly was the highest part shed be shouting over ev1..not a good look for consistent harmony..ev1 in this was @ the best part for them to have the best harmony..get over thinkin whoever ur fav is needs to be lead/best/highest.. go learn abt music

  • They all are Sopranos. Tamia is a first soprano, that is why she is always on the top. Deb and Kel are mezzo Sopranos which means they both can sing both alto and soprano. Deb is a soprano that has the richest (deepest) voice out of the other two Sopranos. Everyone's voice is different. You have hundreds of different of types of sopranos. some have light and fluffy sound , some have dark rich sounds, and some in between. But no one here is a true alto , believe that.

  • I am still looking for the cd, i have not found it on itunes

  • @cuteboi891 KELLY AINT NO ALTO...ALTO ISNT EVEN A VOCAL PROFILE ITS A CHORAL PART IN HARMONY KMT...AND 4 UR INFO KELLY PRICE IS A MEZZO OR SPINTO SOPRANO

  • @FaustinaBordoni You really know little about Kelly Price. If you have ever been to one of her concerts, you would have never said that mess. This is three part harmony at its finest.

  • Tamia, Shervonne Wells (w/Kurt Carr Singers), and my Auntie Diama =P

Are the perfect soprano's to me, they have this thick tone, but at the same time give you some high noted, like up in the rafters type notes. Plus they have that UMP!! behind their voices not just the ability to go high.

  • @cuteboi891 Wll. Id say that if Tamia is a sopano them kelly would be too. kelly can sing extremely low and extremely high. Im quite sure there isnt a note Tamia can reach that Kelly cant. Both great voices.

  • Kelly is not a soprano so stop tryin to put her up there. Just because you can sing up to the high notes doesnt make you a soprano. Tamia-soprano, Deborah-mezzo soprano, Kelly-alto.....Kelly sounds good singing at the bottom btw
