Maybe the camera wasn't fixed on the target asswipe. Some people live in crime-infested areas where you can't take the chance on you or your family's safety. I'd say going to the range is more of a hobby than starting shit over the internet..you must really be bored. Go crawl back under the bridge you came from, troll.

Love the Revolver XD! self defense purposes any gun is better than no gun!

i took mine to range and loaded 38wad cutter38 lead slugs,38 hollow point,357 fiochi round, the first two shots had no recoil and werent loud at all and shot straight, the 38 hollow points and 357 round got loud.the guys next to me shooting noticed it they were shooting 22, and nines,,,lol now for the grand finally i shot the bear loads and that frightned the old man shooting the 22...and also i had a dan wesson out there and with those bear loads its cracked the gun into two no more bear loads!

@remsensor I owned a Taurus 617SS 7 shot .357 and I own a 3rd gen Glock 22, a 3rd gen Glock 27 and a 4th gen Glock 22. The .357 revolver will have more kick but it's not bad at all. If it were so bad they wouldn't sell these but they sell ALLOT of them !

I just bought one online about an hour ago. I can't wait to shoot it. Should have it in 3 days. I wander if you can put crismon laser grips on it? What do you think of this weapon? You think it would knock down an attacker with one shot?

Not single action at all. I shot this video late in the day of shooting. My hands were rubbed raw from the .357 snub nose. I had I think 180 grain Bear Load, so I took the easy way out and went single action. You can hear the power of each shot. I had a death grip on the revolver and you can see me anticipating, oh, a slight discomfert in my hands.

Wow I didn't know it was a single action.
I am considering buying a 357 snub nose but im wondering what the recoil is like in comparasion to a glock 40. cal semi auto handgun? My glock treats me just fine but I am liking the snub nose style revolvers. I was originally going to get a 38. special but since this can fire both calibers im considering this. So what do you guys think should I get a 38. snub nose or go with the 357?

I like the idea of the .357, then loading it with any load you choose. 357 can really beat up your hands but its good to have that option. I've also loaded it with 38 and 38+P, easy to handle. after maarket grips can help with recoil. I think the .357 has more kick than a 40 cal, I own a Taurus 24/7 40, and it has less kick. .357 is better option, i now have SP101 ruger with a 3" barrel, its 5 shot, I would prefer a 6 shot, but tarus 617 was a 7 shot, it was nice but bulky.

good looking pistol, 7 rounds .357 magnum, and compared to my compact .45, the recoil looked minimal

Definately was a fun gun, but only up close, it was heavy enough to help minimize recoil, but heavier loads did create discomfert in the hands sometimes bruising.

Hi I was wondering if the end of the chamber has a circular ring or crown or is it flush with the front of the gun? I noticed on mine its like machined off, missing that groove.......it looks awkward, just wondering if yours is like that. I contacted Budsgunshop and they said Taurus Brazil ships it to Taurus USA with it and then they machine the barrel end down. I find that explanation BS and Buds sold me a piece of crap.
