Army BCT 1 of 8 "SHARK ATTACK"

I have gotten plenty of questions regarding my time in the military, mostly about Basic Training. so I have decided to upload my unit's DVD Yearbook from September '05 through Jam '06. My unit was of the last to be issued BDUs, now when you go to Basic you will be issued ACUs.

This is OSUT (One Station Unit Training) which combines both BCT (Basic Combat Training) and AIT (Advanced Individual Training or your Job Skill). This video is for Field Artillery in Ft. Sill, OK. Although if you are doing any other MOS this will be what you do as well, for the most part.

@TheMentalpenguin a little before '06 actually, my unit was literally the LAST ones to be issued BDUs. I was pissed when i saw the newcomers across the way not having to shine their boots every night haha

@LilJ3090 sounds a little like off season to me. but i'm guessing bct isn't 4 years long. So it's probably accelerated then?

@dogbone222 after a while when ur in bct u get use to it cause if u look at the first few weeks are just to get u in shape, so after those weeks go by and u get smoked its nothing to u

Fort Sill, god I dont miss that place. Graduated shortly after you guys did in this video in February. God it was cold, and the wind was unrelenting. F 1/79 FA. We were the first class to use ACUs as well
