MSH Mini Protos Maiden Flight 02 Jan 2011

Maiden hover of the MSH Mini Protos. First 2 minutes of the flight were not on video...just in case, you know? ;) Setup is stock motor and ESC, cyclic servos are Hitec HS65MG, tail Futaba 9257. FBL controller is BeastX MicroBeast. Battery is Turnigy 3S 2200 30C. 5 minute flight consumed 1143mah, so 7.5+ minute flights are possible at this headspeed.

@michaelaarset It's a nice ESC, but I wouldn't throw away an ICE Lite 50 in favor of it. :)

how hard is the MicroBeast to setup ?

@pointnozzleaway It's very easy. No computer required, you just follow the steps in the manual and use your transmitter to set each parameter (watching the LEDs on the MicroBeast and/or servo position depending on what you're adjusting). I helped someone set a MicroBeast up on a new heli at the field yesterday (Trex 550) and the first flight was totally perfect. :)

@itsallgood78735 Yep, all I did was teach it high and low throttle. Apparently they already set it up in gov mode? I'm liking it so far! I might borrow your prog card and try gov store mode later. :)
