Rutgers to Allow Co-Ed Dorm Rooms

Rutgers University announcing it will allow male and female students to share dorm rooms. Officials say that the new policy is intended to make the school feel more inclusive for gay students in the wake of the suicide of Tyler Clementi.

Jenna spoke to Dr. Keith Ablow as to whether this will have a positive psychological impact on college students.

Look in the mirror before you call someone stupid. As of 2010 there are only about 50 colleges and universities that even offer opposite sex dorm rooms to students. It's not unusual for people (college educated people included) to not to be aware of what goes on in less than 1% of American college campuses.

@SmokeyCough I think people of different gender can live together without any sentiment towards each other and do so in a civil manner. If we were so serious about preventing rape, then there are many other things that would go away.. But they don't, therefore things will not go back to normal.
