now that you mention it... That new movie "Haywire" apparently the main character has her voice dubbed over like that.

What the hell is going on with the front end of the M1 Garand shown at 0:02? The front sight blade is gone, it's painted black, and there's some sort of weird cap over the muzzle. It's almost like this isn't even a real documentary.

@TakedaRaito Probably because many movies back then didn't have proper (or any) sound recorders on set so they basically dubbed and added sound effects after filming. Actually I think most, if not all, movies still do this. Just their dubbing is a bit better quality than this.
