The Ken Burns effect is easy to create in Final Cut Pro X. In this quick how to video I show you how to apply the Ken Burns effect to an image.

  • Great job. Can you create a default for the Ken Burns effect on a group of photos in a project?

  • Thanks for the tip. Can you do an auto random Ken Burns effect for a batch of photos in a slideshow?

  • In creating the scrolling text, is it possible to change the font of a phrase within the text. When I try to change the font of 3 words, all of the words change. Help?

Also, once I export a quicktime movie, the sound pops. Any idea why this happens?

  • I am creating a slideshow and I wanted to know if there is any way that I can select all the pictures and just add the same kens burns to all of them. So far the only way is to do them all individual, but I really dont need specific, just something to keep them moving. Thanks!
