@tws220584 Yeah, I'm 17, I've been interested in it for quite a while, but I've always been kind of discouraged when people tell me that their passion for programming died when they actually got a career in it. For just about the past 2 months I've been religiously studying C (Though I haven't practiced anywhere near enough). And lately I've been extremely interested in AI and I stumbled across your video and I thought that was ridiculous how amazing it was for one person to accomplish.

Nice!

So, was this GA evolved for this specific level, or this game in general? If it is the latter, WOW.

How long have you been programming/studying programming? Also, do you have a job related to it and do you enjoy it?

@Duodecillian I started programming in 2003 when I started studying computer science. Before that I had only worked with HTML and Access Databases.
And yes, today I worki as a consultant at Netcompany where I spent a lot of time on programmingI program, but also talks to customers about their tasks and problems. Yes I love this job, it is what I always wanted.
Are you thinking about starting programming or why do you ask?

This video shows the GA evolved Mario player playing a totally random level, where it has not been trained on. I also have a video from one of the levels, where it has been training on:
