@kronoseclipse the bigger the rim the lower profile the tire is and in most cases a lower profile tire has a stiffer sidewall which can relate into better handling so part of your comment i agree it is tire but most of the time it takes a bigger rim to make a lower profile tire that increases tire performance

@tanki9 bigger rims does not mean better handling, bigger rims can in some cases make handling worse on a car. It is all about the tires

@weallfollowmanutd I believe they did it for the cause of better handling they wanted to make it look as close to original while making it perform better with modern parts

Putting low profile gangsta wheels on a classic is icky, unless your 16 (mentally or physically). This also nullifies it as a true classic.

I have to agree those rims and tires are all wrong. I never understood why so many people actually like these type of bigger rims & tires, To big for a TA and certainly ruins the look.
