  • beginning part is indeed a tenor sax right?

  • yes, the reason for sax change is that it was shot single camera and made to look multi-camera by using shots from other songs.

  • music super good video quality f... shit amateur camera

  • Back when this was shot it was done single camera on a $40.000. Betacam SP Camcorder. The best commercial television technology of the day.

  • shot Betacam SP, you obviously don't have an eye for quality a broadcast quality camera

  • Cool video, Boney is the man; however, this video is a fraud. The first shot, he's playing a tenor, then he's playing an alto. You can't fool a saxophone player,SORRY!!!

  • Not a fraud, the audio was from one song, the video is from different. Since it was shot one camera, we look for the closed match shots to cover and eratic shots from the single camera. Only pros pick his up. The general viewing public does not. It also allows us to get a multicamera look from a single camera shoot/

  • not putting the drummer down by any means . hes a very good drummer,, but the solo wasn't very exciting,it sounded like he was warming up or just practicing,,but hey I wasnt there so I have no i dea what the vibe was like. This song has so much "build" to it I just think it should have kept up the energy of the song and and maybe a little shorter. but again I wasnt there so I'll stfu now. ; )

  • @nbc100 boy you bringing back memories from my TV Days

  • @deregram2 Thank you Buffalo for fostering Spyro Gyra and Jay Beckenstein, the undisputed god of the sax! I think Boney is the closest thing to Jay around right now though. Just saw Spyro Gyra at the Naperville IL jazz festival, incredible!

  • this was at wiggins park camden nj thet would leave the capitol jazz fest and come to camden wjjz now gone would have it by the looks of the crowd it was one of the years it was free i was there but cant say what year

  • I love Boney James ! I can listen to him all night long !! I listen to his songs as I clean my place or going to work. ! I was introduce to smooth jazz when I moved from the south east to Arizona. I was flippin threw the radio stations and I heard Boney James song called, After The Rain ! I was hook'd, lines, and sunken in his songs. I'm a true believer in Smooth Jazz ! :) Thank you Boney James !

  • Didn't After the Rain come out in 1998 on the Sweet Thing cd? So how can this be shot in 1995? I cannot forget because this cd is the only thing that helped me survive the misery of St Louis, Misery...Oh yeah I went to see Boney James there in the theater in the round by myself...front row seat surrounded by couples...lucky me!!!

  • Boney James is awesome. I will see him in Buffalo NY in April 2011
