THE U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the Association of Bay Area Governments $4,991,000, the second largest grant in the United States.....to plan smarter housing for Bay area residents.
The San Francisco Bay Area Regional Prosperity Plan will help put that housing, next to transit and jobs.
The announcement was made at the new Richardson Apartments in San Francisco which could be a blue print for what Bay Area housing will look like in the future.
