A Flying Kite Thing - BY MJONE

Im back... :)
Well atleast for now...
This is a flying kite thing that I have built in Gmod. It uses 4 GPS in each corner of the plate wich reads the DELTA of the Z coordinates multiplied by 5, separately. They have a (-500) thruster located on the opposite side of the GPS. That will make the plate act like a kite or such. To get forward and sidestep momentum, I use 4 thrusters in a cross pattern on top of the plate. Like forward positive thrust, backward negated thrust, right positive thrust and left negated thrust. (Thrust power 200, I think)

To make it stable and not spin around I use 2 thrusters on 2 corners diagonally. (200/or-200 I think)
Thoose 2 thrusters will also be used to turn the contraption with the XBOX 360 hand controller.

So how did I do it, well... there are a million ways you can make it happend, this is my version and I am no good at expressions:

ITL and ITR is Input Thrust Left/Right
OTL and OTR is Output Thrust Left/Right

This will now try to stable the yaw of the plate when you dont pull any levers on your xbox360 hand controller. Is this smart marketing or what!

I use the multiple joystick module and hook up my joysticks and my hand controllers to my computer.
To use the xbox 360 hand controller in Vista you just need to plug it in. Search the Internet to find out more about the joystick module and xbox 360 hand controller on your PC.

I use all the analog buttons/sticks to controll this flying kite thing.

Then to make it work proparly and if it works to dupe all the chips correctly, you should set a DEADZONE of 5000 on all your analog sticks and buttons on the xbox 360 hand controller in the Joystick module calibration page. And Hit Set on all the ones you just changed.

Feel free to use it as you wish, I don't care about pride or whats "my own"...

I wish I could, but I don't have any of the old stuff left on the HD. yeah make tutorial on expressions mostly cuz i cant do that stuff, but i just 5 seconds ago finished the best helicopter ever that runs on all thrusters and i think it has no chips tho..... huh i just noticed that it had no chips =P just a crap load of thrusters, but i want to make it simpler =3
