On the website it says the American made ones are 'Heavy Duty,' do they flip better than the Chinese made ones? What a shame because I like the plain colored ones.

To everyone who is saying "just get real one", sadly, balisongs aren't legal everywhere. I live in California along with tens of thousands people who WANT a balisong, but don't want to take the risks involved with smuggling illegal weaponry (despite them being tools instead of exclusively weapons -_-). Also I would like to say that I personally think it's a frickin stupid law that just holds hobbyists down. Thumbs up if you agree, please.

@inkgeckos same everywhere in canada :( but people who grandfathered them before the ban sell them at incredibly high prices (ie bm42 regular goes for 1200$ canadian)
i dont know why they're illegal in the first place since they are the same as any other knife, other than the fact that they're more fun than regular knives
