@Greyghostvol1 ATi was still in charge of their own manufacturing process up until recently. AMD has owned ATi since ~2006, but they still operated independently, just under AMDs ownership. It's kind of like Skype being owned by Microsoft. They still operate independently, it's just that Microsoft owns them now.

@mrstone56 I know this comment is a year old, but AMD owns ATI. For YEARS now. The ATI name is really only used for their catalystt drivers and little else.

o@nidzaPFC yeah...but you have to do that so often, where as a console you pay $300 for a console and thats all you have to pay for the system for like 10 years, but with a pc your constantly paying for new shit, i mean dont get me wrong pc gaming is great, ive been doing alot of that lately cause my tv broke, but really, it is alot more affordable to be a console gamer.

@sobekflakmonkey yes but u can upgrade PC, for example now you can buy 460gt for 150 $ and u have PC that is 3 times faster than console.

@sookoll23 yes, but thats not the point, im talking for gaming in general, dont really care about that other stuff, i have my laptop for email and internet and such things, and i mostly use consoles for video games, to have a decent gaming computer you need to spend a larger amount of money, and to be honest look at the ps3 in comparison, look at the amazing first party games it pumps out that, games like uncharted 2, killzone 3 and God of War 3 definitely hold up to the best pc standards.
