Turntable Addendum

Looking for advice on the Preamp situation. I have a Pro-Ject Phonobox MM Preamp coming in the post, but my last video sparked speculation. So I plugged in my old table and it seems to work fine with the Cambridge Audio amp, indicating that it does have one built in. Anyway, any thoughts, please share... Thanks for watching!

Yeah. That's a preamp issue. Im sure once you get that hooked up it will be fine!

Does the amp have inputs called Phono? If not then you need one, if it does then you shouldn't.

Although you mentioned on your previous video that your dad is geeky, so he should have spotted that, but you never know.

Your old turntable must have a built in preamp, many modern non audiophile tables do. Glad you got it going now, I bet it all sounds great.
