A couple of minor peeves and a plea for sanity, lol. NOTE: Many seem to think that this video is/was directed at Nutnfancy and TNP ... NOT SO. Nutnfancy posted a recent video which appears to overlap some of the subject matter here, but this is 100% coincidental. The TNP videos serve a different purpose - PRODUCT TESTING & REVIEW - than the training scenarios discussed here. Going further I can say that my initial inspiration for this video came from a Thunder Ranch video where Clint Smith demonstrates malfunction clearances: ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfyULpEhmug ), which was posted on YT almost 3 YEARS AGO. So let's kill this misunderstanding right now and crank the drama machine down to zero where it belongs. ~~ ZT

  • 8:15 "something is wrong with my gun...Time out man" LOL

  • @Mecha04 The motivation for that line was the movie "The Survivors" ... a classic scene with Robin Williams and Jerry Reed.

  • Interesting commentary. If you're not talking about TNP, which Run-N-Guns are you referring to? Most of the run-n-gun vids that I've seen are just a bunch of guys out for some fun.

  • @SuperSetCA I have a policy on my channel of NOT calling people out directly, as it breeds drama and is sort of classless, IMHO. My concern is ideas and principles, not personal squabbles.

  • great commentary ,,,and it wasn't nothing fancy,,, just straight talk,,,,,

  • @StatenIslandPrepper I see what you did there, lol.

  • @lamarama1 Well I am really big on people being able to believe what they want, but I also know I made notes for this video initially weeks ago, and that I really did not have TNP in mind. Somehow I've got this crazy little notion that I know my own mind and motivations pretty well, lol. I understand the confusion, but it really is just coincidence. The timing bites, though.

  • I thought this video was very tasteful, great job getting your point across without being rude about it!

    Keep-em coming ZT!

  • @ZombieTactics Love that movie. They made huge fun of the survivalist movements of the late 70's and early 80's.

  • @12345AaronS mag pouch is just used in training or fun run n guns if you would like to waste all the time in walking around finding them which might cost you a bunch of runs then by all means pick em up.

  • I never thought about it before but I always pulled trigger when I presented. This was a big eye opener.

  • This is a great video with great points. One similar thing I feel strongly about is dump pouches. EMPTY MAGS GO ON THE GROUND! They do not go into dump pouches. Getting the gun reloaded is infinately more important than "saving" a mag for a future ammo resupply. Besides, mags rattling around in dump pouches create a lot of noise. Alright, rant over.

  • @TheLateBoyScout Whatever floats your boat, dude but I wasn't referring to what *you* wear.

  • Very good points. I was taught years ago that practice did NOT make perfect. Practice makes permanent. Permanent bad habits as well. :) Thanks for the pointers.

  • @MrJimbofox I agree, those clothes are designed for those guys in those lines of work. Thankfully, I can get them too, because they're also GREAT for running and gunning - which is what I wear them for. It's about durability, flexibility, comfort, and utility. ACU's/BDU's have it right, so why not wear 'em?

Don't care who your comment was directed towards - just had to answer cause it seemed pretty "looks-centric" with no thought to the purpose of the dress.
