QOTSA is excellent too. but Kyuss defines one Genre: STONER. QOTSA defines a new style of rock, its unique. both are excellent in its own ways

I don't get why people think these guys are similar to QOTSA. I mean I guess there are vague genre similarities but these guys are so experimental and they make more than a sound, they produce a vibe or a feeling. I'll stick with Kyuss over QOSTA any day.

Causa Sui were influenced by this track...

@skydog69zoso Completely agree, it's gotten to the point where I'll listen to Queens and wonder, why am I not listening to Kyuss?
-
@skydog69zoso Shit just realized I replied to you on the same thing a while back. Wow I am STONED. Sorry man
-
@skydog69zoso I disagree. But I can see what would make you think that. Queens is all about being badass and good songwriting, but Kyuss was about beauty and power. I get to see what's left of them on saturday. Cheers

@JefferstChmilst I totally agree- I would never doubt Josh's development as a musician over time, its just different mindsets from then vs now I think...search Desert Roll, tell me if that ain't some sweet recent shit from the JH...I am a huge supporter of both bands, and I like them for different reasons- the majesty and beast mode power of Kyuss, and the careful, beautiful balance and rock articulacy that is Queens.

@drizzeddoerden Agreed Youtube needs an undislike button, for emergency stoner issues.

songs like this are the reason why i think josh homme was SO much better musician in kyuss than in queens of the stone age
