I agree with highlanderchick completely! Scottish dance is a pleasure to watch - and the music is so distinctive. Accomplished dancers and musicians encourage novices and amateurs to explore the art of dance and music - I enjoyed this. Thanks for the original post.
i couldnt fit this in my first post it just sounds like a negative rant so now for the positive: i like the mosic and the steps used. the music is catchy and not boring as it varies. i like your pattening too, very good to see a trio sharing the spolight without always having one person in front. youre all brave to do it too, i know if i did id want to be at the back. you know your steps well and have great stanima to maintain the energy. what levels are you? happy practiving
the one in blue needs to lower her shakes, they start way too high. the one in red did have good points but needs to turn out more on the high cuts. the girl in green had good stage presence but seemed to be making the pas de basques too high but i dont know if it was supposed to be that way, were the kicks etc supposed to be high? it would look alot neater if it was lower and done the way the steps are supposed to be done, not over hightening, thats what my teacher tells me, all about the neat
I agree, red does have a nice point. But, there is nothing else there. It is all well Beginner standard. Now a days i see this standard in Premier and it makes me cringe!
